About Xeta Space
In 2005, Data Components launched a small project host called "QB
Project." The site was geared towards offering small hosting for
projects in QuickBASIC/QBasic. After a few months, "Metronic Hosting"
replaced "QB Project." A new plan was developed to create a better free web host. In
May 2006, Xeta Space made its appearance on the internet through
free web hosting forums and directories.
Upon its debut, Xeta Space was a simple web host offering plans from 15 to 50 MB in web space with little to nothing except a strong community. The little host operated and ran for a few months until a better server was purchased.
On its return, Xeta Space was now offering MySQL, FTP, and e-mail for free.
Xeta Space and all of its staff have a vision of supplying the best quality
free web hosting that such a web host can offer. We believe that free
web hosting should not force advertisements on its members' websites.
Our foundation is for a strong community of diverse and reliable members
and staff.
